Internal Server Error

Hello,

I use the latest version of the plugin, WordPress 4.7.4 and PHP 5.6. But when I try to add a file I get a 500 Internal Server Error. Unfortunately I have no access to the log files of the server.
The plugin worked already in the past, but I can’t say when it stopped working. Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue?

Kind regards

Error 500 on New/Edit Post Form

Hello,
I’m trying this plugin out on a local installation using MAMP PRO and I get an Internal Server Error when I either try to edit the Sample Form or add a new one. Looking at the console, it seems to be admin-ajax that’s crapping out.
I’ve deactivated all other plugins and tried it with Twentyseventeen, to no avail, so it doesn’t seem to be a compatibility or theme issue. All other WordPress features I’ve tried seem to work, including adding posts and pages, and also including the other parts of WPUF (well, in the admin at least).
Is this a known issue? Is there something wrong with my installation, like an Apache option that should be checked or unchecked? I’ve built dozens of sites with this local setup and I’ve never had issues such as this, so I’m at a loss here.

Hello, I enabled PayPal Express and used live settings from my PayPal account. When I try to go-to the PayPal account for checkout on the checkout page I get a Internal Server Error and does not allow me to go-to the PayPal site. The standard PayPal works fine, but PayPal Express does not. I enabled loging and the only thing it showed is:

04-26-2017 @ 18:10:34 – Start Express Checkout

And that it. I am using the Midnight theme from Themeforest which is updated the newest one. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

New WP site didn’t work (Internal Server Error)

[ Moderator note: moved to Fixing WordPress. ]

I rent one server in iPage before. And created sub-directory “web1”, set up www.web1.com by WP. And it works well.
Last week, I created new sub-directory “web2” and created new domain “www.web2.com” and pionted to folder “web2”. The WP 4.7.4 was uploaded to the “web2” by FTP. The link will jump to “http://www.web2.com/wp-admin/setup-config.php”, and show “Internal Server Error”, when I accessed the new domain address.

I searched 500 issue in web. And here is what I had tried.
1. No “.htaccess” at the root directory.
2. The “wp-config.php” is not create.
3. Try to change the PHP Memory Limi. Also not working.
4. Disable all pluging. Not working.
5. Try to re-uploaded all the files. Not working.
6. Remove WP and just created one “index.htm” file at “web2”. It works well.

By the way, the old web is working well.

I was crazy. Please help on this. Many thanks!

Credit Cards charged, but displaying Internal Server Error

Hi.
I updated your plugin to version 1.4.1 and after experiencing error with “invalid vendor”, I manually updated to your 1.4.2 pre-release from GitHub. WooCommerce version 3.0.5.

Now the credit card transactions are getting processed in the background, but customers are being displayed “internal server error” message, which would lead them to re-submit payment resulting in multiple charges. At no point does it actually successfully complete the payment process, taking customers to “success page”.

Are you aware of this issue?

Thank you.

Can’t access my dashboard and pages not displaying

I loaded new wordpress website files to new host.
The site loaded but the url was wrong on all pages bar the home page www.avielochancottages.co.uk

All other pages came up with http://69.195.124.151/~zhwsmnmy the development url i was using on bluehost.

I changed the url under settings, permalinks and then the site didn’t work apart from the home page and I now cannot log in to the dashboard either.

I have tried changing the name of the plugin directory and the theme directory.

I added this code to the wp-config file so now the url is correct on all pages but all pages bar the home page are returning a 500 internal server error.
define(‘WP_HOME’,’http://www.avielochancottages.co.uk’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’http://69.195.124.151/~zhwsmnmy’);

I renamed the ht access code but that didnt work.

I am very new to this and I apologise for my ignorance.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me please to get the site running and log in?
Thank you 🙂

We’ve lost quite a business this week – during the mother’s day chaos due to your plugin.

On the checkout screen as soon as someone clicks the proceed button – at the top of the page a message INTERNAL SERVER error is shown.

All other plugins on our site are working properly. Can someone please advise what must have happened and what the problem could be? We’ve had to remove the plugin for now.

One category contain 393 products and another contains nearly 650 products, here’s the issue when I try to open the Category products in the front end, it displays “Internal Server Error”. You can check these categories from Navigation

Hi,

My problem is that the theme customizer does not update when some plugins are active. but these change, sometimes yoast is causing the problem, sometimes simple lightbox. It just says “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)” in console. What should I do?

Best,

Internal Server error only on certain admin pages

$

Hello,

of course there is a lot of “Internal server error” topics, but I think mine is special one.

I haven’t checked the admin page of a website for a long time ( 6 months or so ) and now it gives Internal Server Error only on admin pages: Plugins, Add New Plugin, Update-core, Options-general and Themes.

I tried: disabling .htaccess, all plugins (and only one at the time too), increasing PHP memory limit by adding php.ini in wp-admin folder, reuploading core files (I had wp 4.6.1 now it is 4.6.3) and nothing helped.

I turned on Error debugging in debug.log file but it shows nothing about this internal server error (only for ex. errors when certain plugins are turned off and it can’t find path to the file etc.).

Apache server log shows:

[Tue May 23 02:02:51.092103 2017] [fastcgi:error] [pid 18253] (104)Connection reset by peer: [client xxx] FastCGI: comm with server “/usr/local/fastcgi/cgi-bin/php-cgi” aborted: read failed, referer: http://domain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=shop_order
[Tue May 23 02:02:51.092178 2017] [fastcgi:error] [pid 18253] [client xxx] FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server “/usr/local/fastcgi/cgi-bin/php-cgi”, referer: http://domain.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=shop_order

I am not sure if these errors are connected with this internal server error but it is quite possible.

Maybe someone has an idea what’s wrong with this? Would very appreciate the help!

Internal Server Error when Minifying CSS (yes I checked FAQ)

$

Hi,

I read a bunch of topics here and also went to the FAQ page to see if there was something about what I fighting, no success.

Environment Context
I have the latest Autoptimize and also W3 Total Cache. In W3 Total Cache I have only Page/Browser Cache enabled (therefore Minifying is disabled). In Autoptimize I have only JSS Minifying enabled (with all sub-items disabled) and I exclude “seal.js, js/jquery/jquery.js”.

The issue
When I enable CSS Minifying and hard refresh my page it loads until I get an error. PageSpeed Insights and GTMetrix get an error as well. I did troubleshoot to see which one exactly was causing the error (meaning that I deactivated W3 Total Cache, testes Autoptimize only and isolated the issue around CSS Minifying. Currently I have everything else ON and CSS Minifying OFF and the site is working fine)

Attempt to resolve
Out of the many things I searched for, I tried enabling the legacy minifying in wp-config.php, per FAQ suggestion, but that didn’t work. Tried re-enabling it again and again with no success.

Below my system configuration

WooCommerce – Internal server error

Hi we have an issue with our woocommerce site. Its been working fine up to one week ago

Initially the problem was when someone places an order with a credit card, instead of a thank you page they were getting an error that says “an error occurred please try again or try an alternative form of payment” BUT the order did successfully go through. However, because the customer thinks the order failed the customer keeps trying to place another order and another order, etc.

We have checked with the credit card processor Payeezy the cc gateway and they said its the woocommerce site throwing these errors – they guaranteed it was not them – everything is processing correctly through them.

So there were two plugins that needed updating – so we did the updates (everything is now up to date) and now we did another test order yesterday we received an “Internal Server Error” instead of the payment error mentioned above – but AGAIN – the order did go through.

Hello,

Using WooCommerce 2.6.14 and utilizing PayPal standard checkout, and PayPal Pro for credit cards I am getting the following issue (causing checkout to break) when updating to 1.4.5.

I’m running Woocommerce 3.0.7 on WordPress 4.8. II have installed the plugin by Mollie (version 2.6), and I can activate it but when I go to WC settings I get an internal server error.
WHen I deactivate the plugin, everything works normally.

WP installed in subdomain and subfolder is down after 4.8 update

I have a WP installed in http://dev1.aleconomico.org.br/loja/

As you can see, it is still in development and will be moved to http://aleconomico.org.br/loja/ once it is all set up. It was working fine until June 11th, and I can’t really tell what date exactly it was updated to 4.8.

The thing is that today it’s returning a 500 Internal Server Error, both frontend and backend. Things I know or tried are:

1. The main site is on 4.8 and is running fine. It has a different theme and different plugins.

2. I tried changing the plugin directory name as to deactivate them and the error persisted.

3. I tried changing the theme directory name (the one specific to the theme installed) and the error persisted.

4. I tried increasing the memory limit both uploading a php.ini file and defining WP_MEMORY_LIMIT and the error persisted.

5. I tried adding an .htaccess file (unmodified WP default commands) to the root of the subdomain directory, and the error persisted.

6. I tried renaming the .htaccess file in the /loja/ subdirectory (as to hide it), and the 500 error was fixed. However, the page was loaded all messy with elements spread out across the entire page. This is understandable since WP could no longer know that the installation was in the /loja/ directory. So this is not a permanent fix.

7. The error_log files (in both /loja/ and /loja/wp-admin/) do not have recorded errors from when the 500 error is returned, but I learned that some plugins are using deprecated functions and notices were recorded, particularly “Automatically populating $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is deprecated” until June 11th.

So this is all I know. My main suspicions are that (a) something in 4.8 was changed in the way subdirectory and/or subdomain installations work, or (b) $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA was finally removed, although that shouldn’t return a 500 error I believe.

I would greatly appreciate any help, as I don’t know where else to look.

Internal Server Error while logging in Instagram

Plugin always worked good for me. On my latest wordpress install, when I tried to log in through plugin, it throws Internal Server Error. Thank you for your help.

htaccess gets truncated then causes internal server error

$
0
0

Twice now on two separate instances of WordPress (both current installs, both on Dreamhost) the htaccess file has grown too large and then, for some reason, is truncated, which causes the file to be incomplete, which in turn causes a 500 internal server error.

The solution is easy — replace htaccess with a known good one — but I want it not to happen again.

What happens is that the plugin just keeps writing to htaccess and never culls the addresses that it is blocking there. In the server that just had the problem, that behavior resulted in a large htaccess file — more than 18,000 lines and 728K in file size.

What htaccess could have is some sort of trimming option. Perhaps “remove unseen bad hosts older than X days” or “limit bad host list to X number of entries.”

Hi,

I have been experiencing some problems using The Events Calendar in conjunction with Duplicator. It has been happening both in WP Version 4.7.5 and 4.8 and it has been happening since I updated The Events Calendar (the three latest versions). I try to back up my site using Duplicator and I get an Internal Server Error. Any ideas?

Thanks
