Gallery section (dropdown) disappeared from Posts

$

Hello,

Recently we noticed that when we open any Post the Gallery sections (drop-down) have disappeared where we would normally select the Galleries that we want to display within in the post. It seems this is now causing that page not to render and gives 500 (Internal Server Error).

Here is screenshot of the page when it was working (notice section in red):
http://nimb.ws/Plcft7

Here is current screenshot, where those sections have disappeared:

Any idea on how this can be resolved so our Posts will work again?

Thanks in advance

The previous version did not give out Internal Server Error but once updated to version 1.3, it just gives out the Internal Server Error and nothing will do except to delete the plugin and/or put back the version 1.2 of the plugin.

Returning 500 (Internal Server Error) when path contains MP3 files

Hi Support,

We are experiencing issues with the plugin when searching for MP3 files.
When the selected path contains an MP3 file, it is breaking and showing an empty list.
Checking from the console, it is throwing the below error:
——————————-
wp-admin/admin.php?page=mediafromftp-search-register 500 (Internal Server Error)
——————————-

We though it was just a file issue, but we uploaded new files and same thing happened.

Can you please help us with this?
We are using Version 9.63

Thanks!

Menus not showing up

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with the menus. When I go to Aspect -> Menus, the menu items do not show up (500 – Internal server error). Enabling WP_DEBUG doesn’t show up anything too, but this is a screenshot of the console log: https://i.imgur.com/3KS5apS.png

I tried to replace wp-admin and wp-includes folders with a fresh WP installation.

This problems persists even if I activate the default theme. I also tried to disable every plugin, with everything disabled the problem appears only when I enable Woocommerce back. I use the latest version of it. Do you have any idea of what could cause this? Tell me if you need more infos and thank you very much in advance for all the great work.

500 internal server errors when posting posts, only since Yoast SEO 55

Howdy!

On my blog, submitting blog posts *works* (the blog posts go live) but the tab in which I am editing and publishing them becomes, after a very long loading time doing nothing, ends up in a “500 internal server error” message.

Some context, maybe?

Yoast SEO 5.01, latest stable WordPress 4.8.

Apache’s error log, two post submitting attempts:

[Fri Jul 07 03:17:00 2017] [warn] [client 86.208.230.179] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 91 seconds, referer: (mywebsite's URL)/wp-admin/post.php?post=86582&action=edit
[Fri Jul 07 03:17:00 2017] [error] [client 86.208.230.179] Premature end of script headers: post.php, referer: (mywebsite's URL)/wp-admin/post.php?post=86582&action=edit
[Fri Jul 07 03:18:51 2017] [warn] [client 86.208.230.179] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 91 seconds, referer: (mywebsite's URL)/wp-admin/post-new.php?wp-post-new-reload=true
[Fri Jul 07 03:18:51 2017] [error] [client 86.208.230.179] Premature end of script headers: post.php, referer: (mywebsite's URL)/wp-admin/post-new.php?wp-post-new-reload=true

No slow query registered where the rest of them are registered in my server, so we didn’t have an abnormal slow query related to posting the posts.

Before that, after Yoast updated itself to 5.0, I had the same error as in https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problems-counting-links/
The engine took forever to index my ten years of posts (over 13k blog posts), and in the end, well, it seemed to believe it couldn’t create the tables even though the tables were created. I could confirm the link counting worked, it was displayed in the related columns in wordpress’s /wp-admin/edit.php list of posts. (It didn’t count links in the posts that were saved as scheduled before Yoast 5, side note.)

My php’s timeout delay is 90 seconds, it should have been enough to do whatever database ops were required, right?
And now, well, I can post blog posts, it works, but I end up with this 500 internal server error in the admin section. Not super friendly.

If you need more details, sure, it’s possible to send PMs in the WP forums? Or else, give me an email addy. Otherwise, good luck fixing it 🙂

Can I safely downgrade from 5.01 to 4.9 version?

Hello,

I have a crippling issue with the latest 5.01 Yoast SEO plugin, mentioned in https://wordpress.org/support/topic/500-internal-server-errors-when-posting-posts-only-since-yoast-seo-55/ , and while I fully trust their skilled coders will eventually find what’s wrong (I let out a huge sigh of relief when I found I wasn’t the only person with the issue, haha), in the present time, my wordpress usage is kinda bugged.

My idea: switch back to Yoast SEO 4.9 for a week or so.

In that context, I wonder, would someone know if I can simply delete the plugin from wp-content/plugins/ and reupload in its place the latest 4.9 version wordpress has in https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/advanced/?

Or could it cause more issues of sorts, in terms of database or pastafari knows what?

I wouldn’t want to add more chaos, so I prefer to ask first, thanks if someone has an idea on the topic 🙂

Please help me getting my site up and running. I cannot lose my blog
If there is a way that someone could do this for me as I just don’t understand how to fix it.

After updating to 2.0.0 from 1.9.2, an Internal Server Error happens.

This was in the error log.

“PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /var/www/html/news/wp-content/plugins/wp-social-bookmarking-light/wp-social-bookmarking-light.php on line 44”

Same thing has happened when I had updated “Hide Update Reminder” to 1.3.0 from 1.2.1. The culprit was that the author modernized its code. Right now, the author has fixed it and no error happens.

Anyways, the server info that made this error are as follows:

Server Info:

Hi, i have been using this plugin for 2 years with no problems, but recently after updating to version 2.2.10 and WordPress 4.8 once I activate the plugin I get an internal server error and can’t access my website or even the admin panel, I deactivated all the plugins and activated them one by one till I found that the issue is from the “NextGEN Gallery plugin”, i deactivated the plugin for now to get the website to work but I have 27 galleries on my website and if I used any other gallery plugin I will have to redo all the 27 galleries which will take a long time, appreciate your help and advice if there is a possible fix? is there a possible way to install an older version of the plugin ? will that fix the problem?

Internal Server Error

Hi

I don’t know what version of WordPress I am using – sorry! It’s old, though. Happy to check if anyone can tell me how?

I can log in to my blog, but when I click anything on the black bar at the top of the site (Home, About WordPress, Add post, etc) it just goes to an “Internal Server Error” page. I can’t get to the Dashboard or anywhere.

My blog has not been updated in years!

Can anyone help, bearing in mind I really don’t know much?!

TIA

Site not displaying properly after going live

I’m a newbie and although I’m learning, I’ve found myself in over my head.

Built a site and everything looked fine in preview. Now that I’ve put the site live (updated DNS, etc.) the home page doesn’t display properly and am getting an Internal Server Error when trying to access other pages.

The site is: https://andamanboardsports.com/

I have disabled all plugins and switched to the Twenty-Sixteen theme with no change. I haven’t touched any code or made any technical changes as I know I would likely screw things up.

It’s probably something simple that I just don’t understand. Thanks in advance!

500 and 732 Internal Server Errors happen randomly

$

Hi, my site randomly throwing Internal Server Error, on f12 it says code 500, but on browser tab and on webpage it shows 732. On webpage there’s nothing else, somethimes it just show “Internal Server Error” and sometimes just “732” both on 16px font.

This problem happens on front end and back end, I’ve tried to revert to default WP, using default theme and disable plugins, this still happening.

I asked my webhosting but they can’t do anything because can’t replicate it. Using my internet connection the problems happen on front end (even when not logged on, and I’m using W3TC) and back end, while using proxy it only happens on back end.

I have several sites, some with similar configuration as this and some using same hosting though different server, only this one particular site that gives me errors.

I found almost simiar problem as mine here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/732-internal-server-error/ but there’s no solution except I’ve to read something I don’t understand.

Is this connection problem? Server problem? Will changing hosting/server solve this? From my server stats, everything is undercontrol, low IO usage, low CPU usage, low memory usage.

Any thought on this? Thanks
