Unable to load site when logged into WordPress

Hello –

I wasn’t able to find a related topic in the forums, so I’m hoping that I’m not posting an already-answered question.

We’ve noticed what might be a bug (?) where, when logged into WordPress, we are unable to load the website in the same browser. Instead, we get an “Internal Server Error” message that reads:

“The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@[ourdomain].com to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error maybe be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

I’ve already checked with the person in charge of our server and network. But, from what he can tell, it’s not actually a server issue, since simply logging out of our WordPress account allows access to the site again.

What could this be due to? Is this actually a bug? Or, could it be something that may have been inadvertently enabled/disabled in our settings?

Thank you!
