Trishah on "[Plugin: iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security)] Internal Server Error for folders outside of WordPress"

When I have other folders on my domain that are outside of WordPress, your plugin will give me an "500 Internal Server Error" when I try to access them. I have to deactivate your plugin to get into them then turn your plugin back on. For instance, I have a contact form script admin access file at the following location: http://domain.com/contact-form/admin.php and I get the 500 error.

How do I "white list" folders on my domain that are outside of WordPress so this doesn't happen? Or is there one of the settings in your plugin I need to reconfigure so this doesn't happen?
