I'm trying to set up a wordpress website for a client of mine with the Avada theme (from themeforest) on http://chefsofthegreathotels.tv/wordpress/. I managed to install the layout on Godaddy and have the basics running, but now that I want to edit pages, posts and import demo content the connection keeps dropping out.
When I try to preview a page or edit a post, I get 'Page not found!' in Chrome. When I look into the details, it says there DNS lookup failed. However I'm using my primary domain with no extra DNS settings set-up. WordPress is also very slow with loading pretty much anything else, so it randomly drops out.
Also, when I surf directly to the site, often I get the same page-not-found error at random times.
When I try to import the Avada demo content, it says 500 internal server error. I'm sure it's not any of the scripting, because it's a pre-built theme that runs fine on my localhost back home, but I'm not sure what else it could be.
Does anyone know any ways to fix this? I wouldn't want any people to end up on an error-page once they do surf to it. I have seen a lot of people post frustrated things about GoDaddy hosting in combination with WordPress.
