I was trying to fix some stuff with our theme today (it seems to have replaced some of our customized things with the defaut stuff- for example, the "Risen" logo was where my logo should have been) and accidentally caused what seems to me like a big issue!
Here's what happened:
I looked at the my website and noticed that the background image was missing, as well as our logo and the tagline that goes beneath the banner images. I looked through all the wordpress stuff and couldn't find any way to fix it except by reinstalling Options Framework. The plugin wouldn't install. I googled it, found that there was something I needed to delete by logging in via FTP. I didn't know how to do that, so I decided to try to find a way around it.
I went to the theme Editor and found a file with the same name of what had been recommended to delete. I copied and pasted it into a Word doc, just in case, and then deleted it. That's when I got "Internal Server Error". I can no longer log in via wordpress and the website doesn't display at all.
I did more googling and figured out how to log in via FTP, but I don't have the username/password for that.
