After installing and activating the plugin, my WP site continuously reported “internal server errors” (it became unusable). It took me some patience and several page-reloads to open the plugin directory, deactivate, and finally uninstall the Matomo WP plugin.

Several users report similar issues online (Matomo Forum & GitHub). Others report similar findings with WP 6.2 and PHP 8.x.

While I am sure the community is willing to analyze and fix those issues, a plugin that tears down my site is barely unusable, and I completely lost trust.

Nevertheless, good luck to this open source project and lots of success to the community behind it.

when I’ve installed plugin Code Snippets by Code Snippets Pro (ver 3.4.0) and I have your plugin in version 5.3.4. There is colision between these plugins. I don’t know where is the problem. I’ve tryed disable all snippets. But only what can I do is disable the plugin. Collision looks like… When i’ve tryed to go to example.com/sitemap.xml I have only information about Internal Server Error with code 500. But I’ve wanted to find something more. (I’ve disabled all filters, .htaccess things etc.). And I’ve used to google to find the solution, but I didn’t find nothing.
So can you find where is the problem between your plugin and other plugin? Thank you very much.

Hello, I am a website designer and recently I have had two separate websites with error messages.

Both are WordPress, Divi, WooCommerce sites. Hosted with different service providers. The only plugin that is on both websites is Yoast. Everything is updated on both.

Sussex-biltong.com is showing this error on the backend:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Scrubsrx.co.za is showing this error on the backend which is intermittent:
Error establishing database connection

Both websites also display this error on the WooCommerce home page:
There was an error getting your inbox. Please try again.

Please can someone assist as I have done a lot of problem solving with the scrubs website for weeks now and still haven’t solved the problems.

There seems to be a problem with the newer Defender Version and the Geo Controller plugin. With Defender 3 we didn’t had any problems. Since we updated it to version 4 we always get an Internal Server error when switching the language of a page 2-3 times (language selector created by WPML plugin).

The error disappears when we
– either deactivate the Defender plugin
– or deactivate the Geo Controller plugin

The only errors we found in the log files were about to many redirects. But as I said we have this problem ONLY when both plugins (Defender 4 and Geo controller are activated).

Do you have an idea what the reason could be?

Hi,
unfortunately, the commercial features do not work any more because the plugin can’t be registered. It seems like the dwbooster server itself isn’t working. Requests are answered with “ERROR 500: ERROR INTERNO DEL SERVIDOR”. Can someone please fix this issue?

Hi,
My site has Divi as a theme and some of the animations I set in the backend don’t work. If I go to “inspect” page on google it shows me that there are some errors:
“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500”
By disabling the plugin the error messages disappear. How can I fix this?

I disabled all redirects but still get the internal Server error after I make any plugin update on the website.

The form does not submit, if it contains one or more checkboxes. I tested without checkbox (just normal text fields, e-mail, etc.) and it worked as expected. As soon as I add a checkbox, the form does not submit. When ‘send’ is clicked, the spinning icon appears, but stays forever and nothing happens.

Ideas what I could investigate anyone? Thanks!

I found a similar topic to this posted 2 yrs 8 mo ago (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/internal-server-error-when-logging-in-2/) and I followed James’ three suggestions (via FTP: rename plugins folder; rename .htaccess file; rename active theme). None of them worked.
